Match physically, sign off in person

We run a physical sample match against regional suppliers, then put the samples in front of the maison's design team. A substitute agreed on a photograph gets rejected on site; one agreed on a sample does not.

Order before tender closes

For genuinely long-lead items we pre-order against a provisional sum rather than waiting for the main contract. The cost of carrying that risk is far below the cost of opening late.
